Spring 2025

NOTICE TO CLUB PLAYERS 
If you're player is playing on a club volleyball team (ie. Surge, Topspin, Club 513, etc.) this spring season, please do not sign up to play in the Spring 2025 session.  We have had too many conflicts in the past few club seasons with tournament weekends overlapping with our game schedules and our teams having to forfeit due to not having enough players.  We are no longer allowing club players to play in the spring session.  If you already signed up, reach out to Kirby or Chris so we can refund or credit your fee.

WOAC Volleyball is a recreational volleyball league for grades 3 through High School.  The league also offers Athletic Divisions in certain grades for more advanced players and we field teams in these divisions when offered.  Below you will find more information about tryouts for these teams. 

Registration is filling up for the Spring 2025 season. We expect to have to cut off registration before the tryout dates listed below and you MUST be registered to be able to try out for an athletic division team. We will start a waitlist if a division is full but those on the waitlist will not be eligible for the tryouts. No exceptions!

Season Details

One practice a week for one hour each team. We will offer a second practice night to the athletic teams if space is available. Practices will start the week of March 17th and during March we will run practices Monday through Saturday at Betsch Fieldhouse at Haubner. Starting in April, we will move some teams to Cheviot Fieldhouse. Matches will begin the weekend of April 4th, 2025.  The season consists of 10 matches over 6 weeks and will end with a season end tournament the weekend of May 16th – 18th.

Tryout Information

We will have tryouts for the athletic divisions on the following dates:

7th/8th Grade on March 10, 2025

5th/6th Grade on March 11, 2025

Registration will start at 6:00PM and tryouts will begin at 6:30PM.  The tryouts will last around 90 minutes and will wrap up around 8:00PM.  There are no additional costs for athletic teams.  You do NOT need to tryout for the Athletic Division. All players signed up will be placed on a team.
